McMahon is a 'Prisoner'
Seriously... he is.
Variety is reporting that Julian McMahon of "nip/tuck" fame has been cast as the title character in Prisoner, and independent drama that just began production in Nashville, predominantly at the Tennessee State Prison.. McMahon will be playing a Hollywood director who is taken prisoner while scouting an abandoned prison for a film location.
David Alford and Robert Lynn wrote the script and are making their helming debuts while Elias Koteas plays the jailer; Dagmara Dominczyk, Kim Raver, Rocky Carroll and Tom Guiry make up the rest of the cast.
Aside from "nip/tuck," McMahon will next be seen in The Fantastic Four and is one of the names on the short list for the next Bond film, Casino Royale.
