McGowan Confirmed as Barbarella?
Could Rodriguez really be doing this with her?
Sorry, but for some reason the whole Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan relationship leaves a sour taste in my mouth, and perhaps Robert's as well, I don't know where Rose has been. However, while I did mildly enjoy his collaborative effort with Rose in the somewhat likable Planet Terror I am not at all interested in seeing the two getting together and making Barbarella together. All I will be able to think of is how Robby left his wifey to be with the ex-Marilyn Manson hag.
ELLE.com is reporting that the rumors are indeed true as they say McGowan is slipping into a fur bikini and major bouffant to take on the title role in the remake of Barbarella.
There isn't a whole lot more to say about it, other than the fact that Rose's name will bring no additional attention to the project and is likely to result in it performing in proper Grindhouse fashion at the box-office. For those of you out of the know, that means I don't think it is going to do too well.
