McBride Goes to 'Prison'
Carsey-Werner Films pick up Chi.
Variety reports that Chi McBride is set to star opposite Dax Shepard and Will Arnett in the Carsey-Werner Films and Strike Entertainment produced flick You Are Going to Prison with Bob Odenkirk set to direct a script by Robert Ben Garant.
McBride will be playing a powerful and musically talented inmate in a maximum-security prison in the tale of a career criminal and an entitled rich guy stuck together in a cell.
The film should begin lensing later this month at Joliet Prison near Chicago.
