Mary Jane Confirms 'Spider-Man 3' Villains
Rumor no more.
I am not quite sure if this is how Sony wanted to have the villains for Spider-Man 3 announced considering they were doing their best to keep the news underwraps, but after recent rumors surrounding the baddies' identities Kirsten Dunst has now confirmed the rumors.
Zap2It caught up with Dunst as she was out promoting her upcoming release Elizabethtown and she had this to say, "We have really great people though as the villains in this film, Thomas Haden Church and Topher Grace — Venom and Sandman." She quickly followed the quote up saying, "Maybe I wasn't supposed to say that," and while I have no idea if she was supposed to say it or not, she did and it is out.
So there you have it, Thomas Haden Church will play Sandman and Topher Grace will play Venom in Spider-Man 3, which is due in theaters on May 4, 2007.

Its a disappointment that topher will be venom. He does not really fit the image or character of venom in any way. I will rather see Brock Lesner ex WWE wrestler act out that character.
