Marsden and Ackerman Put On '27 Dresses'
Fox 2000 signs on to produce with Spyglass...
James Marsden and Malin Akerman are set to join "Grey's Anatomy" star Katherine Heigl in 27 Dresses for Fox 2000 and Spyglass Entertainment.
The romantic comedy will be directed by Anne Fletcher and centers on a young woman (Heigl) who has made a career out of being a bridesmaid but never a bride and faces her worst nightmare when her sister (Akerman) becomes engaged to the man of her dreams. Luckily, the wedding brings around the man (Marsden) who will change her bridesmaid status for good.
Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Weats Prada) penned the script and production is set to begin in May in New York and Rhode Island.
