Marky Mark is 'Max Payne'
Another videogame adaptation on the way
Yet another videogame adaptation is heading to the bigscreen and this time it is bringing Marky Mark Wahlberg with it as the one time underwear model/rapper is set to star in Max Payne for 20th Century Fox for director John Moore (The Omen and Flight of the Phoenix).
Wahlberg is in negotiations to play a cop who is haunted by the tragic loss of his family and has little regard for rules as he investigates a series of mysterious murders. He finds himself up against an adversary bent on destroying Max and the streets he protects.
Beau Thorne penned the script and will be Wahlberg's next picture following The Lovely Bones, which he is currently shooting in Pennsylvania for Peter Jackson. He recently finished work on M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming horror The Happening.
