A Look at the Next 'Lord of the Rings' DVD
Tune in to 'Ringers'
On November 22nd Sony Pictures is dipping into the Lord of the Rings well as they will release Ringers: Lord of the Fans, a look at how J.R.R. Tolkien's literary masterpiece "The Lord of the Rings" has influenced pop culture for the past fifty years and spawned a global community of loyal and colorful fans affectionately known as "Ringers."
I have received a VHS copy of the feature, which I have not yet had a chance to preview yet, but I will check it out over the weekend and give you the full 411, but until then check out some clips Sony just sent over and if you are ready to buy without any advance opinion you can click here to get it over at Amazon.com where they have it listed for $17.47.
The DVD also comes with a group of special features including: a filmmakers' commentary, a "Rock & Ringers" featurette and a "The Ring Comes Full Circle" featurette.
