After Mean Girls I would say Lindsay was on her way to becoming a super model. Her star was rising. She was Disney's goto girl.

She followed that up with A Prairie Home Companion. She was starring alongside Meryl Streep! People were saying good things about her as an actress!

She had a small role in Bobby. She had made Chapter 27. These are films serious actresses make, not Hollywood starlets.

And then…

Sleepy Lindsay. Too much drinky.

Well, things didn't go so well. So much to the point that she was actually seen spending time with Brett Ratner! Oh, the horror!

Rehab. Drunk. Rehab. Drunk.

Now what?

Sorry Lindsay, but getting naked no matter who the homage/tribute is for is never the answer for an ailing career. However, you know what is….?

That's right, a guest spot on a TV show! Just ask Britney Spears! She shaved her head, attacked paps with an umbrella and was even on suicide watch (allegedly) and a couple of appearances on "How I Met Your Mother" and everyone is back in Brit-Brit's corner. So what's the Lin-Lo gon' do? She gon' get all "Ugly Betty" on ya ass.

Variety reports Lohan has sealed a deal for an extended guest shot on "Betty" and she will be seen in the May 22 season finale and five episodes of next season. She began shooting on Saturday.

Word is Lohan plays an old schoolmate of America Ferrera's Betty Suarez character. Lohan's character was not particularly nice to Betty back then, but when the two bump into each other in the finale, Lohan's character is down on her luck, in sharp contrast to Betty's glamorous and promising career at NY fashion mag Mode.

Suffice to say, Lindsay's career has blossomed from near supermodel status to a 350 pound beast in two short years. It's time to start shedding the pounds and the first step is to get the folks that sit at home and watch sitcoms such as "Ugly Betty" to like you again and then it's time to conquer the world!
