Liebesman Set for Next 'Friday the 13th'
And things keep rolling on...

According to Variety Jonathan Liebesman (Darkness Falls) has been tapped to direct the next film in the Friday the 13th franchise for New Line Cinema set up at Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes.
Liebesman is no stranger to horror, New Line, or prequel stories for famous horror characters as he also directed the upcoming Texas Chainsaw prequel, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning which is due in theaters on October 6, 2006.
The Untitled Friday the 13th Origin Film is expected to hit theaters only 7 days later on, October 13, and is the 11th film in the Friday the 13th franchise, which will center on Jason Voorhees' origins.
