Liam Neeson Stares You Down in Poster for 'The Grey'
Live or die on this day
Open Road has debuted the poster for Joe Carnahan's The Grey on Facebook.
The film, which hits theaters on January 27, 2012, centers on a group of oil-rig roughnecks stranded on the sub-arctic tundra after their plane experiences a complete mechanical failure and crashes into the remote Alaskan wilderness. The survivors, battling mortal injuries, biting cold and ravenous hunger, are relentlessly hunted and pursued by a vicious pack of rogue wolves.
Liam Neeson plays Ottway, the leader of the group, which also includes Dallas Roberts, James Badge Dale, Dermot Mulroney and Joe Anderson.
Check out the poster below and if you haven't watched it yet, I included the first trailer directly above.

A staring contest with Liam Neeson. Yay!! I've ALWAYS wanted to do that
How dare this movie have wolves as an antagonist of sorts. They are noble creatures. How dare Jaws have a shark as its villain. Sharks are beautiful, misunderstood creatures. How dare Hitchcock depict birds as dangerous. Birds are sweet, noble creatures. How dare Die Hard use Europeans as villains. Europeans are sweet, noble creatures.
Scott – you're an idiot.
Sara — Scott's pretty darn funny.
Yeah Sara…He's being satirical, which is a sweet, noble quality!
Sara – I'm with you. Not sure what so noble about Scott, unless we are both missing his humor?? Hopefully his comments were dripping with sarcasm.
I, for one, am looking forward to seeing this movie!!
