Law Praises Penn
In a USA Today article Jude Law proclaimed that Sean Penn deserves this year's Oscar for Best Actor for his role in Clint Eastwood's Mystic River.
"I've always loved Sean Penn's work," Law told reporters Wednesday at the Berlin International Film Festival. "He's someone I've respected and looked up to and admired for years and years and years, and I think it should be his year."
I guess Law assumed he had no chance for that pile he starred in and would bow out gracefully since Cold Mountain did so poorly at the Golden Globes after receiving the highest number of nominations.
