Sucker Punch is PG-13? How much editing did they have to do for that?
None, the movie was supposed to be PG-13 since the begining.
Well, technically not since the beginning. During promotion for Watchmen, Snyder touted Sucker Punch as a hard R. That changed once filming started tough, but even when Emily Browning was cast, it was still supposed to be rated R.
But, yeah, it was FILMED as a PG-13, not conceived as a PG-13.
Regardless, apparently people who have seen footage from it say its still pretty brutal and violent, the violence isnt inflicted on humans. So it'll be bloody, but the blood isnt red…
@ckybltz, if it's so damn bloody and violent, why the hell isn't it fucking R rated???
I'm surprised too, thought for sure it would be R.
It pains me to see a film as briliant as The King's Speech get rerated. Why it was R rated in the 1st place is beyond me. It was ONE scene!!! Albeit, one scene with 15 f words, but still.
I'm looking forward to seeing Limitless, and The Help. But I will NOT support the Wienstein brother's decision to rerate the King's Speech!!!!
Limitless looks like it could be worth the price of a ticket. I'll be waiting for the reviews.
