Wow. I had no idea the Rum Diary was so far along.
I am anxiously anticipating it's release, as are millions of other Hunter S. Thompson fans around the globe. After all the set back and the loss of Benicio Del Toro early on, this has been a long time coming.
Just because it wasn't posted in a bulletin does not mean that it isnt rated yet. I have read on numerous websites including the official one that Nightmare on Elm Street was rated R. I would trust the official site because I think that the director would know
Not the point, and the director doesn't run the official website. The point is it simply hasn't been included in a bulletin yet, not that it was overlooked.
I noticed a week and a half ago that the official site listed the film as being rated R for "violence, disturbing images, and some sexuality." I'm wondering if they are just trying to anticipate what the actual rating will be. I remember back in 2005 when Lionsgate got an earful from the MPAA after listing Saw II as rated R before the film went before the board.
Yeah, perhaps timing on the rating reason hasn't been right for release. I expect it will officially arrive next Wednesday.
and i'm shock to see Going The Distance getting an R-Rating it look a another PG-13 Romance Comedy i was wrong.
You have a film entitled Beautiful listed. Did you mean Inarritu's Biutiful? If so it is odd that it is already rated before it even debut's at Cannes. But I looked on imdb and there is no current film entitled Beautiful listed so I assume that it might be Biutiful
No, it's not Inarritu's movie. It is a movie from E1 Entertainment U.S. LP, not Focus Features. Inarritu's movie is listed on the site right here and once it is rated it will be added to the bulletin.
This weekend, Kick Ass is MPAA rated with "…some drug use", while Death at a Funeral has "…drug content". Is drug content just talking/joking about it?
