They have to rate Shutter Island quickly.
Also, MacGruber is Rated R for violence and language. It's on the official website.
yo braM GOT THE LINK?
I hate to say it…but Im getting the feeling that Shutter Island is gonna be PG-13…just seems so weird they havent rated it yet.
@aj: Yeah I do, http://iamrogue.com/macgruber/
it seems bs too plain of a rating too me and its like a crude comedy probly a little bit more than that
I forgot that "Dante's Inferno" is getting a straight-to-DVD animated tie-in movie, a la "Dead Space".
Maybe I'll check it out. Maybe.
Hurry up, Shutter Island!
@aj: That's what I thought. The trailer hints some Forte nudity and there are probably tons of sexual references.
If Shutter Island gets a PG-13, I'll be quite disappointed. I'll still see it, but if it's PG-13 it'll be a hard PG-13. Remember Aviator, guys?
Ya, i just checked the website of MacGruber and it said R.
Shutter Island will be Rated-R, i have almost sure of that
@TS:
we know
@Bram:
that seems more like a rating for the trailer but it could be accurate
The ghost writer roman polanski's film is PG-13 yet they say the F-word a few times in the trailer
@aj: Even the trailer had a reference to rape.
aj, where is your proof that Ghost Writer is PG-13?
Ghost Writer is PG-13. It says so on the poster. Shutter Island is R.
Links to the posters, please?

Wheres your source on Shutter Islands rating?
http://www.chacha.com/question/is-shutters-island-rated-r
I'm not sure if that's much of a source. I was just assuming on that one initially. Given the director and the time of year it's being released, an R rating is almost certain.
Where's the description for Shutter Island?
Shutter Island ihas been rated R for disturbing violent content, language, and some nudity.
Source: http://www.shutterisland.com
@ckybltz: That settles it. It's rated R.
Then again, there could always be an appeal, which I can totally see coming…
So by next week's update, it will be official.
If there was any one to get an appeal itd be Scorsese (if got an appeal with Shine a Light), but since its up on the website(as well as the new TV spot), its very unlikely to change.
The only time Ive seen a film get their rating changed after thing like that was The Fountain. I have a theater poster that has an R rating for that, even though it was released as a PG-13.
Thank you for the Shutter Island one! How about the description for The Ghost Writer please? I couldn't read all of the font on the poster link that's up here.
Its Its PG-13 for Language, brief nudity/sexuality, some violence and a drug reference
Thanks again! Wow, I owe you a couple favors now, lol.
Micmacs looks good, and I'll probably check out that Dante's Inferno cartoon.
