  1. Pleasantly surprised at The Book of Eli's R rating. I kinda thought it would go the "pushing PG-13 to the limits" way of TDK

    @Nick:
    i agree but also thought if it was r it would be a harder more violent

    Bitch Slap? I'm surprised the MPAA approved the title …

    I'm glad to see The Book of Eli get an R rating. It should be great.

    I thought Lesbian Vampire Killers quietly came out a long time ago.

    Me and Orson Welles … eh, I'm mixed on this. Linklater is usually great, but Zac Efron is a choad.

    If Paramount edited all three films…

    Shutter Island;PG-13; For violence, frightening/disturbing images and thematic material, brief sexual content, some drug content, and language (the sexual content is there in case there was something not hinted at in the trailer; it may not get rated for that).

    Up in the Air; PG-13; For brief sexuality, language, and thematic material (this is self-explanatory).

    The Lovely Bones; PG-13; For violence including a sexual assault, some language, and thematic material.

    @M1

    Are those official ratings, like Shutter Island's rating?
