Light on big titles, but heavy on strange rating reasons
Here are the new MPAA ratings from BULLETIN NO: 2080.
This week's list of ratings is light on any real major titles, but get a load of the reason for Walt & El Grupo and I am afraid to even think about what's going on in Farmhouse.
Rated R For strong bloody violence, disturbing images, sexual content, graphic nudity and language.
Release Date: August 21, 2009 (Limited)
Deadgirl
Rated R For strong aberrant sexuality, graphic nudity, bloody violence and pervasive language.
Rated PG-13 For thematic material including disturbing behavior, sexuality and brief strong language.
Release Date: Festival release back in 2007
Farmhouse
Rated R For strong violence/torture, language and a scene of sexuality.
For Sale By Owner
Rated PG-13 For some violent and disturbing images.
Rated R For language.
Hurt
Rated R For some violence and brief language.
It's Alive
Rated R For some violence including bloody images, language and brief nudity.
Sugar Boxx
Rated R For strong sexual content, nudity, language, violence including a rape, and some drug use.
Unthinkable
Rated R For strong bloody violence, torture and language.
Walt & El Grupo
Rated PG For historical smoking.

Violence, mature thematic whatevers, disturbing imagery included… Nope, just language.

there really not strange ratings and undisputed first trailer made it look really violent it just got strong language
Historical smoking? What the fuck has this goddamn P.C. country come to?
Deadgirl sounds a LOT more disturbing than Farmhouse, IMO.
There's nothing I remotely give a damn about in this update.
Thank God it's not just "smoking" people will be in for a real surprise if they expect that.
