I am very excited about 9, but I already know I'm going to be that person who screams and sits on some stranger's lap. I'm the girl that was deeply disturbed by Monster House and Coraline. So why am I going, you ask? I'm going because I want to support Acker and since Tim Burton has supported him and let him do his thing, I'm willing to endure an almost heart palpitation.

BTW, has anyone been following the video game version of "X-Men Origins"? It's supposed to be super bloody and graphic, unlike the movie. Supposedly there are stabs, decapitations, and graphic depictions of Wolverine sticking his claws into peoples eyes and stuff. Sounds awesome- I'd kill for a movie version of that.

@<a href="#comment-16426" rel="nofollow">junjun</a>:

Yeah or maybe the fact that the enemies all pretty much died- remember when they're chasing Dash and he dodges his pursuers so quickly that they crash into each other and create a huge fireball? Or how about when Syndrome gets his cape stuck in the propeller of that jet? I'm fairly certain that the PG rating was because of that. I am surprised that "Up" got a PG, because the film looks harmless and fluffy and way more G-rated than "Wall-E" did. But whatever, I'm sure it'll be great. I've never bet against Pixar and I'm certainly not starting now.

If I remember correctly, What gave The Incredibles a PG rating back in 2004 was because of a couple of gunfire/gunshots in a few scenes. At least that's what I recall from reading the official description when the rating was announced. Nevertheless, it won't really matter, I'm looking forward to it and it's pretty much ascertained to make bank

9 gets a PG-13! Very good! I'm glad that Hollywood animation is starting to move beyond the G/PG realm.

"Up" gets a PG. Hmm, interesting. I suppose not a surprise, since Pixar has done PG before with "The Incredibles." It doesn't matter what rating it gets, though--I'm excited to see it anyway!

And of course Wolverine receives its PG-13. As expected. Hmm, partial nudity. Interesting. That is to say, very promising! :D

I'm really glad 9 got a PG-13. The short was very dark and brilliant. I hope it will be good.

I love how the Watchmen Director's Cut received the EXACT same rating as the original cut.

X-Men ... partial nudity? Probably man-ass.

I'm shocked not by the PG Up recieved, but by the reason for it. Some peril and action? That's odd.

Couple of surprises...firstly, surprised/glad that "9" got a PG-13. The original short was definitely dark and somewhat disturbing, so Im glad it seems as though they havent dumbed it down for the kiddies.

Also surprised theres still no official announcement about Terminator Salvation, considering the official site has been updated to include the PG-13 rating...
