  1. How is Dragonball Evolution PG when in the comic books their was intense violence, sexual humor, and language?

  2. JM

Dragonball is looking more and more like a bomb with every bit of info that's released. I'll be glad if it fails. One summer my cousin was into Dragonball, and I was forced to watch it for a week, and it was THE worst TV show I have ever had the misfortune of watching! I have very bad memories associated with Dragonball, and I will be thoroughly delighted if/when it bombs.

Hey JM. have u been living under a rock or something. you must be brain dead to not like dragon ball. i mean, what do you wtach, crap like death note where people write down other peoples name to kill someone. how stupid is that. You must watch crap like mtv to not like the beauty the artsyle and the amazing fights in dragon ball. no to call it perfect, oh boy is it from perfect but still amazing. Look sorry if i said some rude comments there but no one makes fun of dragonball

Apparently everybody does care about "Dragonball Evolution." That's good.
That said, what is with this PG non-sense? PG? Not even Fantastic Four was PG.
I can see not making it Raided R because unlike Japan, us stupid americans think you have to be 18 to see someone get a hand stuck through them.
So it should be PG-13. PG is a big dissapointment.

I'm still very excited to see this movie. I do not have problems with Goku being a high-school student, nor do I feel that some of the changes are horrible.

It's obvious they've taken elements from many parts of the series; Goku is obviously supposed to be mostly like Gohan instead, when he was in high school.
Piccolo is king Piccolo from Dragonball. But he is from space like DBZ. Chi-Chi is clearly a combination of Videl and Chi-Chi also. Master Roshi is Master Roshi without the pervertedness.
They haven't even shown Yamcha yet, but he doesn't seem too off.

The action looks very good; the vechicle transforming is very reminscent of Bulma's capsule corp vechicles, as well as the Kameamaha wave.

That said, where the heck is Krillin? He should be in this movie instead of stupid original characters that don't belong, even though Mai (possibly inspired by Mai from the first season who worked for Pilaf, instead for King Piccolo). There are some others that aren't really worth mentioning.

Don't be ridicoulous people. Taking elements from all parts of the source material is why movies like "Silent Hill," "Resident Evil: Extinction," amongst others are why they worked and were as popular as they are.
Except this title is a million times more popular.
I think the budget of $100 million was a little much, but I do have high hopes and hope it is successful, provided they bring Vegeta, Krillin, and Piccolo Jr. into the next movie.

Last thing; the title "Dragonball Evolution" fits very well, as tagging on the "Z" would've been stupid, and it represents the series evolving into a movie obviously.

Please do see it, and make a far judgement. For the sake of movie and dragonball (series) lovers everywhere…

OH sweet sarcasm, I thought dragonball was going to be R or something rediculous. Instead its a measly pg, typical. Just goes to show how quick I am to eat it up

  6. I know Dragon Ball wasn't as violent as Dragon Ball Z but if Spider-Man was PG-13 so can this movie.

People who have not been following this movie or haven't read the comics may not know what i'm talking about but Dragonball Evolution has that PG-13 tone, the only reason why it got a PG rating is so they could appeal more to the kids.

It's funny because most Dragon Ball fans are adults and for the ones who are kids mostly live in asia.
