'Last Chance' for Hoffman and Thompson
Dustin and Emma team for rom-com?
The unlikely romantic comedy duo of Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson are teaming up for Last Chance Harvey for Overture Films and the over 70 movie-going crowd.
The story centers on a man (Hoffman) down on his luck who finds an unlikely companion (Thompson) while in London attending his daughter's wedding.
Joel Hopkins is aboard to direct from his own script and shooting is set to begin in September in London.
Hopkins told The Hollywood Reporter, "While writing the script, it was always my dream for Dustin and Emma to play these characters, but I never imagined I'd actually be fortunate enough to see that dream come true."
Yeah Joel, now we can see these two really ham it up like we wanted them to when they were younger.
