Winstone, Thewlis and Friel added to Departed scripter's drama
Variety reports Ray Winstone, David Thewlis and Anna Friel are set to join Keira Knightley and Colin Farrell in William Monahan's London Boulevard. Monahan is directing from his own script.
In the film Farrell will play a South London criminal who, after release from prison, tries to give up the gangster life by becoming a handyman for a reclusive young actress (Knightley). Winstone will play a former crime boss and Thewlis will star as the actress' agoraphobic business manager. Friel will portray the criminal's sister.
Filming begins this summer in London with financing from GK Films.

I'm looking forward to this, although most great screenwriters don't make great directors.
I have this script, but I haven't read it yet.
