Kilmer Tapped for 'Deja Vu' and 'Dark Matter'
Back with Tony and in with Meryl
Variety has just reported that Val Kilmer has just joined two new flicks. The first one is the on-off-on flick Tony Scott feature Deja Vu in which Kilmer will star alongside Denzel Washington, Jim Caviezel and Paula Patton. The film follows a FBI agents (Washington and Kilmer) who travel back in time to stop a terrorist from blowing up a ferry.
Deja Vu begins filming early next month in New Orleans.
The second flick finds Kilmer starring opposite Meryl Streep in Dark Matter, a film about a Chinese university student who reacts violently when his chances for a Nobel Prize are dashed by school politics.
There was no word on when that film would go into production.
