Kilmer Heads to 'Moscow'
Val joins Alicia and Gallo.
According to Variety Val Kilmer has just signed on to join Alicia Silverstone and Vincent Gallo in Moscow Zero with Luna at the helm. Don't know who Luna is? Well, her full name is María Lidón and she also directed Gallo in a flick called Stranded. She also helmed the feature Yo puta, which starred Daryl Hannah and Denise Richards and saw a very limited release last year
Moscow Zero, however, finds Kilmer playing the head of a group of Moscovites who live in the city's underground. Silverstone plays Lyuba, another underground dweller; Gallo's character leads a rescue team in search of a Russian anthropologist who's disappeared beneath the underground system. They discover an eerie multilevel system of caves and catacombs.
The film is described as a horror and will begin shooting in December in Moscow, Spain and the U.K.
