What's Your Truth is My Falsehood

I watched The Killing of a Chinese Bookie a while back and I always meant to write something about it but never got to it... I don't know what it was, but something in the air today reminded me of this scene, which was my favorite scene in the film for how real and honest it felt. Ben Gazzara nails it here and the supporting cast around him is perfect with their timing, reactions and overall ability to be in the moment.

One of my favorite movies. Probably my favorite film by Cassavetes, slightly ahead of A Woman Under the Influence. He is a really unique director, and Ben Gazarra is simply marvelous in this film.
