Kidman, Portman, Bening, Swank, Carter and Adams: THR's Actress Roundtable
It's just the beginning
Every award season The Hollywood Reporter churns out what amounts to probably the feature the site has to offer, a series of video roundtables with actors, writers and directors and yesterday they debuted their actress roundtable, which includes the following participants: Helena Bonham Carter (The King's Speech), Annette Bening (The Kids are All Right), Natalie Portman (Black Swan), Nicole Kidman (Rabbit Hole), Hilary Swank (Conviction) and Amy Adams (The Fighter).
Obviously missing from the table are such names as Lesley Manville (Another Year), Jennifer Lawrence (Winter's Bone), Julianne Moore (The Kids are All Right), Michelle Williams (Blue Valentine) and if Adams is included for The Fighter I must say Melissa Leo is missing as well since her turn in that flick looks impressive and has already been reported as so. But this is a pretty good sampling and these interviews tend to always be entertaining and we can expect more throughout the year.
You can get the rest of the multi-part interview here.

I watched that video yesterday(the whole video),i think i just fell in love with HBC and NK all over again :)
Loved watching QT, Cameron, Bigelow etc. last year, that directors' roundtable was the first time I've seen some of this stuff. Would love to watch more, bring it on.
Honestly, this is what I love about awards season.. and just film in general. Everyone coming together and talking about their craft. I could care less who wins, just listening to their stories is awesome.
