Kevin Smith Chats up 'Passion'
Film status offered up in VA forums.
Kevin Smith is probably more in touch with his fans than any director that comes to my mind and further proof of that was displayed recently as he posted a massive update on his official website forums concerning the status of his upcoming Clerks sequel, The Passion of the Clerks.
Inside the update he mentions he expects the production to take place sometime around April 18th, that it will not be a cameo heavy affair, as well he admits that "This is the funniest thing I've ever written. It's also really poignant." He also mentioned that he'll "still be making a 'Clerks' cartoon movie, separate of this."
