Kevin Bacon Gets All Frost-y
I really can't wait to see this one
I think Ron Howard has found himself a real winner with his next flick and Kevin Bacon is set to join the fray. The film is Frost/Nixon and on top of Bacon the film stars the immortal Sam Rockwell, Toby Jones and Matthew Macfadyen.
Frost/Nixon is an adaptation of the hit Peter Morgan play based on a series of televised interviews that David Frost secured with former President Nixon in 1977. The final interview ended with Nixon tacitly admitting his guilt regarding his role in the Watergate scandal. Frank Langella and Michael Sheen are reprising their Broadway roles as Nixon and Frost, respectively.
Bacon's role in the whole thing will be to play Nixon's chief of staff Jack Brennan.
Production gets underway later this summer.

The immortal Sam Rockwell??? Come on ya gotta be kidding me, this guy is far from immortal let alone a star. One decent movie and thats all the guy has starred in. Just my opinion thats all
With Rockwell it is not about the number of movies he has been in that have been successful, it is a matter that he is one of the best actors we have and he is in so few good movies but has turned in so many good performances. He was AMAZING in Green Mile, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and even Matchstick Men which was terrible but he made it worth watching. I am seeing Joshua tomorrow and hoping for the best, but if directors would just get this guy in more films you won't be making that comment in a couple of years.
