Katniss' Poster Portrait for 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire'

Oh, so fancy

On the heels of the four character portraits I posted this afternoon, below is the portrait featuring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen promoting the November release of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

The second installment in the Hunger Games franchise begins as Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.

Check out the Katniss poster below (via MSN) and to see the posters featuring Elizabeth Banks as Effie, Stanley Tucci as Caesar, Woody Harrelson as Haymitch and Lenny Kravitz as Cinna click here.

Does anyone else see the mocking jay silhouette along the top half of the dress? :-)

Yes I saw it right away. But I don't recall if it was described this way in the book. Do you remember?

Really looking forward to this actually. I am not the blockbuster-kind of guy, but somehow The Hunger Games and The Hobbit intrigue me. Though, I couldn’t care less about the superhero stuff coming out.

It doesn't really feel like a blockbuster kind of film. At least hunger games didn't. Not to me anyway. I am already planning to go to the midnight show!!

Is this dress possibly (SPOILERS) Cinna's Mockingjay dress? The one that leads to his death? It doesn't look like how it was described in the book, but the top half, as a couple people said above, the top half looks like a mockingjay.

Actually I think this is the dress that snow picked out for her.

That is a pretty amazing dress. Gorgeous.

At first I thought the last poster with she and peeta was her wedding dress. And it didn't look like a dress that snow would pick for her. Now this makes more sense
