Katie Holmes Probably Not Wonder Woman

Unless she is dressing up for a Halloween comeback special of "Dawson's Creek" I don't see any chance of Katie Holmes playing the part of Wonder Woman, especially if the almighty StarPulse is reporting the news, who is actually quoting Star magazine. When even a tabloid regurgitated news headline includes a question mark you can pretty much count it as false.
Warner Bros. can't seem to be satisfied with a script for the film, and have fired Joss Whedon because I can only assume the script was too smart, and have left the film in limbo. I can only assume the film isn't quickly getting made because of that image above. What do I mean by that? Come on, this chick is so dated.
You can't have a woman flying around in an invisible jet wearing that corny ass outfit. An outfit that even if you make it look like the image to the right still won't look right because the chances of this film being that dark and moody are slim to none. The only reason anyone is even remotely interested in this film is because it is a superhero property and it offers up the small possibility that some hot Hollywood actress will be fighting baddies in her underwear and a boustier. I just don't see it happening, at least if it does I don't see it resembling the Wonder Woman Lynda Carter played in the '70s with those big ass granny panty looking things.
After all, if anyone is going to play Wonder Woman shouldn't it be Kate Beckinsale? She has the body and the action resume to make it a done deal.

What do you think though? Do you think there is any chance this movie gets made? I mean she has a lasso of truth and an invisible plane of which you can see her in… Just doesn't sound too super to me. Sounds more like a young boy jerk fest, but I am not a huge comic guy so I might be missing something.
There's a market for superhero film right now, so I'm guessing we'll hear more about this. Can this ever get off the ground? Yeah, if Whedon hops back on. They're too afraid to take a chance with dark and moody films.
