Jones Gettin' 'Rich' On 50 Flick

Variety is reporting that Oscar-nominated composer Quincy Jones has signed on to compose the original score for Paramount Pictures' Get Rich or Die Tryin' the upcoming big screen debut of rapper turned actor 50 Cent.
This will be Jones' first time in the composer's seat since he handled the score for Steven Spielberg's The Color Purple two decades ago.
Jones has scored several movies in his career including the original Italian Job, In the Heat of the Night, Cactus Flower and The Wiz.
Get Rich or Die Tryin' is directed by Jim Sheridan and set for a November 11th release, click here for more info, pics and the trailer.
