Johnny Depp as a Vampire? Sign Me Up
Then again, put Depp in anything and sign me up
I don't know about those of you out there, but when I hear Johnny Depp's name in association with a new role my ears perk up the same as they do when I hear Sam Rockwell is going to be taking on a new project. Of course since Depp is a bit more in the spotlight a lot of my energy is spent anticipating his upcoming movies, which now will include a feature film based on the '60s daytime supernatural sudser "Dark Shadows."
Warner Bros. is taking on the venture for the adaptation of the show that spanned over 1,225 episodes and is referred to by Variety as a highly atmospheric, spooky soap that featured gothic horror staples like vampires, monsters, witches, werewolves, ghosts and zombies.
Depp just finished filming Sweeney Todd for Tim Burton and we just got a look at an exculsive Comic Con poster for the flick, check it out below and in the Paramount Pictures Panel gallery here.
