Johnny English Returns in New Trailer for… 'Johnny English Reborn'
A film clearly intended for the international marketplace

Rowan Atkinson is a funny guy, but I don't think his bumbling James Bond secret agent Johnny English to be all that comical. His first feature length film as English in 2003 wasn't any good, but the fact Universal was willing to get behind a sequel eight years later is a testament to the growing state of the international box-office.
I'm sure Universal couldn't care less what American audiences think of this new trailer considering the over $132 million the first film pulled in overseas is the more important number. Johnny English Reborn hits theaters on October 28 and by that time it will have been released in several international markets making the domestic tally the cherry on top of the already built sundae.
The film is directed by Oliver Parker (Dorian Gray) and co-stars Gillian Anderson, Dominic West and Rosamund Pike as Atkinson as the title character must stop a group of international assassins before they eliminate a world leader and cause global chaos.

In the years since MI-7's top spy vanished off the grid, he has been honing his unique skills in a remote region of Asia. With mere days until a heads of state conference, one man must use every trick in his playbook to protect us all. For Johnny English, disaster may be an option, but failure never is.

I personally find it funny, but I'm surprised it took you this long to post it. This trailers was shown with movies as early as Zookeeper (i was dragged into seeing that)
Well I'm interested in watching this, zazu is back. Just hope it's actually funnier then the first one.
My family and I have been fans of Johnny English for years, and are very excited that there is a sequel being released. When we want a good laugh it is one of the first DVDs in our collection we reach for. We love the character created by Atkinson!
