Joanou Coaching the 'Gridiron Gang'

The Rock was already named to the team, but now the team has a coach as Phil Joanou is set to direct the Rock starrer, Gridiron Gang, with Xzibit in talks to board the film as well, but who is Xzibit to say no to a movie deal?
The film would find Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as a coach, putting together a football team of juvenile-detention inmates to compete against local high school teams. Xzibit would play the assistant coach.
While it isn't exactly The Longest Yard, it does sound a bit similar, either way it is set to begin production at the end of May.
