Jessica Biel in 3-D Animation?
Nope, not really...
The one time they should really do mo-cap animation and all they want Jessica Biel for is her voice. Perhaps Robert Zemeckis can get a 3-D digital Biel in one of his next pictures, until then we will never know if a movie theater can handle the likes of Jessica Biel and her assets in 3-D? Biel, along with The Rock, Justin Long and Seann William Scott have all signed on to add their voices to New Line's 3-D animated feature Planet 51 for director Jorge Blanco with Javier Abad and Marcos Martinez co-directing.
The film will feature astronaut Chuck Baker (voiced by The Rock). Thinking he's the first to set foot on the surface of Planet 51, he finds it is inhabited by green people who live in an innocent world right out of the 1950s, complete with the paranoia that they will be overrun by alien invaders.
The pic was written by Joe Stillman, a writer on both Shrek and Shrek 2, and is already set for a July 24, 2009 release date with plans to have the project completed by March 2009.
