UPDATE: Jessica Biel Won't be Getting Naked in Theaters After All

UPDATE: Powder Blue will be getting a limited theatrical release on April 24 in New York and Los Angeles and is expected roll out to ancillary markets in the weeks following prior to its June 9 DVD and Blu-ray release.
Way back in August of 2007 big news hit the movie world — big in the prurient sense that is — that Jessica Biel would be getting naked in her upcoming film Powder Blue in which she plays a single mother stripping to raise money to save her terminally ill son. She stars opposite Forest Whitaker, Ray Liotta and Patrick Swayze with Timothy Linh Bui directing.
In December the trailer debuted and the Internet shut down and it was immediately declared a national holiday as people rushed online to see what they could see. The film didn't have a release date or a distributor yet the anticipation was palpable as the thought of a naked celebrity seems to get people quite randy.
Well, the film has a distributor and a release date, but it doesn't look like it will be coming to a theater near you as Blu-ray.com announces Powder Blue will hit DVD and Blu-ray on June 9th from Image Entertainment. How much are people looking forward to a naked Biel? Well let's just see what some of Blu-ray.com's commenters think, and please forgive grammatical and capitalization errors as I didn't want to lose the wit and intelligence of the conversations:

A little bit off-topic, but what on earth is Forest Whitaker doing in this movie? With this and Vantage Point and Street Kings, he hasn't exactly taken advantage on winning the Oscar and parlayed that into better roles.
Ah too bad. How can a film featuring Jessica Biel topless go straight to DVD? That alone hould have made the film fross over 200 million. This worse than Mischa Barton naked in CLosign the Ring, and that film opening in pretty much two theatres. Whats happening?
This is NOT the first film to have a naked Biel. There was some movie she was in that had a shower scene in it where she was naked so, why all the hoopla over this film and saying she's naked in it, like it's a first for her??

OLDNEWS please do some research before making an ass of your self. No movie has ever featured Jessica Biel naked before (at least not in a way where we see anything).
I'm thinking maybe Powder Blue won't either
