Jeffrey Dean Morgan Continues with Comic Adaptations in 'The Losers'
Next time out he's a black-ops commando
Jeffrey Dean Morgan must like all the attention he is now getting since signing on to star as The Comedian in Warner Bros. upcoming Watchmen adaptation. Of course, starring in films based on comic books and graphic novels can bring adulation just as much as it can bring hatred, but right now he is riding a wave of love and hopes to continue as Variety announces he is set to star in the film adaptation The Losers based on the DC-Vertigo comicbook of the same name.
Stomp the Yard helmer Sylvain White is set to direct the James Vanderbilt (Zodiac) penned script which concerns a band of black ops commandos who are set up to be killed by their own government. They barely survive and set out to get even.
There is no word on when the film will get underway as talk of this project has been around for quite some time, first gaining a lot of steam back in 2007 around the release of 300.
