UPDATED: Is 'Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair' Coming in September?
Blu-ray releases set and the promise of a boxed set...
UPDATE: Argh, update already as Dan from HDRoom points out that they covered the announcement a couple of weeks ago, saying the 'boxset' referenced by DVDActive is nothing more than a bundle, a la National Treasure. I guess my optimism is slowly turning into eternal doubt. The bundle and both single editions are already available for pre-order here (Vol. 1), here (Vol. 2) and here (bundle).
DVDActive is reporting that on September 9, Walt Disney Home Entertainment will release Kill Bill: Volume 1 and Kill Bill: Volume 2 on Blu-ray and also notes "a boxed set containing both titles will also be available."
The site has no details on special features for the Blu-ray set or what exactly will be included or make-up the boxed set, but we can only hope they have finally come to their senses and are giving the fans what they want.
What are the chances? Realistically… slim, but I remain optimistic.
