If he is Mayan he is...
One of the most ridiculous scenes in the overblown and boring Apocalypto involves the film's protagonist Jaguar Paw outrunning a jaguar. Now I don't know if he actually had jaguar paws and accompanying legs but they sure look human to me considering the skin and lack of black hair and the fact that he didn't run on all fours.
