'Iron Man' Comic Con Footage is Coming Soon

In HD no less...

I hate posting these kinds of articles because the headline screams "CLICK ME, CLICK ME!" without offering anything really new, which is why I sat on this story since early yesterday when Jon Favreau first posted the news on the Iron Man Movie Group forum on MySpace.

Apparently the footage we saw at Comic Con (described here and downloadable here) for Iron Man is expected to make its way online, and in HD no less. Here is what Favreau posted:

I hear you all loud and clear. You want to see the footage that we brought to SDCC. Why not post it in HD instead of having everyone download a grainy bootleg? I agree. I am trying to get a version out to you ASAP. This is a big movie, however, and it takes time to get the proper approvals from all parties involved.

I am happy to report that both Marvel and Paramount have agreed to get a version of the footage out to you very soon. I will report the specifics when I get them. Thanks for your enthusiasm and patience.

See what I mean… Nothing special, at least not until it is actually online and you can guarantee that article I will jump on.
