INDY 4 Script Getting a Another Treatment
Jeff Nathanson is the latest to take a crack at the script...
In the revolving door of screenwriters Jeff Nathanson is the latest to put his pen to paper as they attempts to finalize a script for Indiana Jones 4 continues.
Nathanson is the man behind such films as Rush Hour and has had his experiences writing for Spielberg as he scripted Catch Me If You Can and co-wrote The Terminal.
The Indy 4 story almost hit production track this summer until word came in that there was not unanimous approval from Spielberg, George Lucas and Harrison Ford on the Frank Darabont script.
Pending approval of the Nathanson script it is unknown just when Indy 4 would be able to hit the production sked as Spielberg is currently working on War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise, which he was expected to follow-up with his 1972 Munich Olympic tragedy film.
While Lucas is finalizing Star Wars: Episode III, Harrison Ford is currently working on The Wrong Element and is expected to follow that one up with the space-thriller Godspeed.
Indy may have a rocky road ahead of it, but it looks like the powers that be are not giving up on it yet.
