Latest 'Immortals' Pictures Make It Look More Like a Tarsem Picture
The full gallery is now up to 60 total images
Photo: Relativity Media
Relativity Media just sent over 19 new pictures from Tarsem Singh's Immortals and we are finally getting out of the grimy dirt and war pictures and getting a bit more of the stark imagery we expect from a Tarsem film. Whether you like the images or not, I think this latest batch of photos proves this isn't the 300 meets Clash of the Titans film all the previous stills and trailers made it appear to be.
Yes, the battle scenes definitely have that 300 vibe and the story definitely brings to mind the warring of the Gods in Clash of the Titans, but that image above of Daniel Sharman as Ares and Isabel Lucas as Athena on Mount Olympus is definitely more The Fall than anything we have seen to this point.
You can browse the complete gallery of 60 photos right here, but I have included seven select images from the 19 new ones in the thumbnail gallery below. You can mouse over each for a description, but the first image in the gallery is a shot of the Gods atop Mount Olympus.
Do these new photos give you different impression of this film? Do they change your expectations?

These pictures are stunning. Almost like a painting brought to life.. Eager to see the film..
Watched the first trailer, after watching the second.. still convinced it is 300 with only a change of cast, armour & scenery.
I think these stills prove the movie might have better visuals than the extremely bad trailers and stills released so far would have had us believe.
It doesn't remotely prove anything about the story though. That said, I have a pretty low opinion of 300 and Clash of the Titans, so this genre is not one that I tend to warmly favour anyway.
I will still need to see some reviews to get a sense, because stills and trailers are still not encouraging me to go see it in theatres.
I never bought into the 300 remake vibe. That's just marketing trying to get more people to hit the theaters. 300 was a pretty big box office success. If it fools the average movie goer into seeing what will most likely be an art film, good for them.
I too don't care for this genre and in the couple of clips I watched, the scenes looked kinda cheesy and over the top. Also, while Henry Cavill and a couple of others played their parts well, Freida Pinto's acting is really amateurish and unconvincing.
