'I Am Legend' Trailer 2 is Here
This thing bored the hell out of me
Sorry, but talk about one of the longest and slowest build ups ever for a trailer. Good Lord, do I really need to watch the dog not eat its vegetables, run on a treadmill and chase butterflies all while Will Smith plays golf, gathers leaves, hunts deer and pretty much does nothing before the alarm on his watch goes off and the real hell breaks loose? Admittedly, it looks like it might be a little bit of action filled fun once it hits on December 14th, but talk about the slow road to getting somewhere.

While it is boring, I think the trailer is trying to get across the idea of somebody just trying to live a normal life, but at the end it's obvious that he can't.
This reminds me of a short story I read once (I'll have to research to see who the author is) about a guy who is the last person alive. He goes the whole story evading these "creatures" until at the very end when he is torn apart it's revealed that they aren't diseased zombies, but are feral children who survived when the adults didn't.
I think what the people who developed this were really trying to do is build up the drama/intensity of the trailer instead of revealing all the action like other action movies do. over all id say they do a good job of that here. it keeps you on edge
