A fantastic 'There Will be Blood' Oscar spoof
I feel like hatred will be spewed my way should I admit this, but I will, I actually think David Spade is funny and after this new clip from FunnyorDie.com in which he spoofs There Will be Blood by taking on the persona of Daniel Plainview and explaining to the good folks of Little Boston and telling them why the Oscars need to go on.
He actually does a moderately good job of spoofing Lewis' performance, at least in spoof terms. This video should also be a lesson to the idiots that make films such as Meet the Spartans and Epic Movie that this is an actual spoof. Notice Carmen Electra is not in there and there isn't a single fart joke. I know, it is hard to believe there is something funny without a fart joke, but it is true.

If David Spade were a quarter this funny or inspired on a regular basis his movies might actually turn out to be decent – maybe even good. Still, this is good stuff and definitely proved to be a good start to my morning. Really nicely done.
