'Hulk' in Toronto, 'Bourne' in New York
One for 2007 and one for 2008
A couple of film crews may be heading to your neighborhood as word has hit the wire that The Incredible Hulk has chosen Toronto as its filming locale and a car chase scene is set to be filmed in New York City for The Bourne Ultimatum.
First off, out of Yahoo! Finance comes word that The Incredible Hulk will film in Toronto with Louis Leterrier in the director's chair. No specific dates were announced, but filming is expected to begin shooting this summer for about four months. The cast has yet to be announced.
Next up we learn out of Downtown Express that The Bourne Ultimatum will take over parts of South and Dover Sts. and Peck Slip to film a car chase scene from March 17-18, St. Patrick's Day weekend. The film crew will be on location from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days, Universal project director Lauri Pitkus said, and will set up the night before.
The car chase will start at the corner of Market and South Sts. and end near the Department of Transportation lot underneath the Brooklyn Bridge at the corner of Dover and South Sts., Pitkus said.
The Incredible Hulk is set to hit theaters on June 13, 2008 with The Bourne Ultimatum coming to the big screen on August 3, 2007.
