Huge Deal on 9 Marvel Movie Blu-rays including 'X-Men', 'X2' and 'X-Men First Class'

Marvel Blu-ray DealAmazon's deal of the day seems only appropriate since it comes on the first day of Comic Con. The deal is a nine-movie Blu-ray bundle of Marvel movies from Fox Home Entertainment and it includes Bryan Singer's X-Men and X2, X-Men 3, X-Men: First Class, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Fantastic Four, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Daredevil and Elektra for only $59.99, 70% off the $199.99 retail price. You can buy it right here.

I suspect many of you may already own some of these, but if you've been holding off on buying the first two X-Men films and maybe X-Men: First Class, it's a good way to not only pick those two up, but snag a few additional titles at the same time that you wouldn't mind revisiting.

Personally, I own the X-Men Trilogy Blu-ray pack, which is actually only $24.99 (buy it here) right now if you'd rather go that route.

I would go for this but with the Wolverine this summer and Days of Future Past next summer, you just know Fox will be debuting next fall some type of X-Men Saga box set. I'll just wait then...I think.

    That's a pretty decent deal.

I remember quite enjoying Elektra when it first came out but i've never actually seen it since and the reviews for it look pretty shocking! I was quite young with little movie experience at the time so perhaps it is a bad film, maybe it's better I never revisit it and just enjoy my memories.

It's only Elektra I haven't seen of this bunch and of the others, there isn't a film there I love enough to buy, it's a very good deal though. The biggest disappointment for me is the Fantastic Four films, I love that comic and would definitely welcome the rumoured reboot somewhere down the line

    • Brad Brevet

That reboot isn't rumored, Josh Trank (Chronicle) is directing for a March 6, 2015 release.

      • andyluvsfilms

Oh right, thanks Brad. I know we/i shouldn't be asking for reboots so soon after with an already saturated marketplace but honestly, those films could of been better.
I really enjoyed Chronicle so fingers crossed for a more adult FF and a badass Galactus

        • Josh McLaughlin

          You said it!

      • Newbourne

I hope something horribly awful happens to that production delaying it's release. The rights would then go back to Marvel so they can include them in the Avengers.

  • Ryguy815

Out of these films, the only ones I haven't seen are X-Men 2 and 3 and Elektra. I already own the two Fantastic Four films (I haven't watched either in years though, so I have no idea how they would hold up today. I just know I enjoyed them a lot when I was younger). The only other film here that I really love is X-Men: First Class. X-Men, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and Daredevil are all good but I don't really have any interest in buying them.

    • John W. Creasy

X Men 2 is something you really need to see. The best of all the X Men titles by far. The White House prologue scene is brilliantly done, and it just gets better from there, with all the characters treated with care and respect, even smaller characters like Iceman and Nightcrawler. Really good ensemble movie.

  • The Movie Guru

Honestly, I have all of these films except Elektra and Daredevil, so I really don't need this set.

  • G-Man

Most people probably already own it, but The Dark Knight blu-ray is on sale on Amazon for $4.44 today.

  • Vince O.

A decent deal if you really, really like all the X-Men films and don't own them on Blu-Ray yet...but I can assure you that you will never, ever watch the other films in that package more than once.
