weak..this EXACT thing was done already right here
Cool! Now, show us how to make a "floating head" poster, like they used for "Iron Man," "Armageddon," and presumably will be used for the upcoming "G.I.Joe" movie! PLEASE stress the details on that Photoshop "feathering" effect… we're taking notes.
I actually think the 40-Year-Old Virgin poster is one of the most brilliant posters of the last few years. The simplicity and THAT picture are perfect. As for the others: Knocked Up = not bad. Rocker = the lameness.
Good idea Thinking Skull, I should go ahead and make the "Joe" poster now. :)
Oh, and David, you hit the natural progression on the head. It's a tired concept, even the Apatow boys changed things up for Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
I guess I shouldnt admit I like the Rocker poster, it made me laugh. Sure the design is played out, but Rainn Wilson as a child is even goofier looking than Rainn Wilson as an adult.

Hey if the people that make the posters wanna be a bunch of followers go for it … its fast easy and they dont have to go all star wars on it and paint a massive picture. To me i think its cool plain simple and gets to the point.
