Housewife Joins 'The Sentinel'
Eva Longoria joins Michael Douglas in suspense flick.
"Desperate Housewives" have taken the TV world by storm and one of them is moving on to the big screen as the sexy Eva Longoria is joining the cast of The Sentinel for S.W.A.T. helmer Clark Johnson.
The film already stars Michael Douglas, Kiefer Sutherland and Kim Basinger and centers on Special Agent Pete Garrison (Douglas) who suspects that the neo-Nazi Aryan Disciples have positioned one of their own in the White House, but his investigation is cut short by a blackmailer who knows of his affair with the First Lady Sarah Ballentine (Basinger) and tries to frame him for murder. Though he is officially relieved of his duties, Garrison doesn't stop trying to prove his innocence and save the presiden't life and comes into a direct confrontation with his protege, hardheaded Agent Breckinridge (Sutherland).
Production is scheduled to begin mid-May in Toronto and then it is on to Washington, D.C.
