Hoffman Joins Portman in 'Wonder Emporium'
Fantasy flick finds Dust in the mix.
Variety is reporting that Dustin Hoffman is set to star alongside Natalie Portman in Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium for writer/director Zach Helm.
The film is a fantasy that finds Portman playing the manager of a toy store that seems to come alive when infused by the spirit of its eccentric owner (Hoffman). When his health begins to fail, he wants to turn the store over to her, but her depression has turned the once vibrant store to a gray pallor.
Helm along with scripting Wonder Emporium also penned Marc Forster's upcoming comedy Stranger Than Fiction, which is set to star Will Ferrell as well as Dustin Hoffman… go figure.
Currently Natalie Portman is wrapping up her work on V for Vendetta with Warner Bros.
