Hoffman Gets 'Stranger'
Thesp rounds out cast of comedy.
It seems Dustin Hoffman is taking a liking to comedy as Variety reports the thesp is rounding out the cast of the comedy Stranger Than Fiction for Mandate Pictures.
The film already stars Will Ferrell, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Emma Thompson and Queen Latifah, already giving it all-star cast quality.
The story written by Zach Helm and directed by Marc Forster, centers on an IRS auditor (Ferrell) who finds himself hearing a narrator only he can detect. The voiceover tells him events are in motion that will lead to his death; Hoffman's professor character helps the auditor in his attempts to find the narrator and change the story.
Fiction is currently set to begin lensing in April.
