Hey Ladies! A Photoshopped 'Sex and the City 2' Poster and New 'Twilight: Eclipse' Stills
Man, those ladies sure have some big heads!
First off, the sparkly vampire phenomenon returns to theaters on June 30 with The Twilight Saga: Eclipse and Summit has just sent over a couple of new images, both of which are teased above and can be seen in full high resolution right here, but that's not really what I want to talk about. Let's move to the sparkly marketing campaign of another summer blockbuster aimed at the female audience members where I have a little more to say…
Sex and the City 2 tickets are selling like crazy. Fandango was reporting a week ago they were outselling movies that were hitting theaters for the first time that weekend, and even outpacing Kick-Ass in just its second weekend, and it doesn't even hit theaters until May 27. While I am admittedly uninterested in this follow-up to the mega worldwide original hit that brought in over $415 million worldwide back in 2008, I look at this poster and ask myself Just who do they think they're kidding?
What have they done to Sarah Jessica Parker's face and are we supposed to believe that is Kim Cattrall? They look like airbrushed cartoons. Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon don't look to have been nearly as re-touched as Parker and Cattrall, even despite my manipulation of the poster. The art was done by Mojo and looking through the gallery of their print art to this point at IMPAwards I don't see anything that resembles the Photoshopping that's been done here.

This reminds of my channel surfing a few months ago when I landed on Cougar Town. I almost didn't recognize Courtney Cox. She looks like a wax museum statue of herself. Has she been using Joan Rivers' plastic surgeon? If she stays under the hot lights too long, I fear her face will melt.

I think this poster is perfect, it shows just how much of a joke this ridiculous franchise is. Now, all they need to do is fix the title and call it what it's ALWAYS been 'Sluts in the City'. I'm a middle-aged female, but some reason I have no use for these…you call them 'ladies'???
