UPDATED: Here's the Full James Bond Theme
Keys and White turn in ... something...
UPDATE: A clean copy of the song is available right here. Oh, and it's called "Another Way to Die", sorry for not mentioning that originally.
Gotta admit, I am not an immediate fan of the new James Bond theme turned in by Jack White and Alicia Keys for Quantum of Solace. Sure, the guitar is cool, but it is still playing the same Bond tune we have always heard, the rest of it sounds like a mash up of noise until Keys comes on and starts shouting.
I am not a music reviewer though, so you give it a listen and see what you think.
Oh, and here is the Coke ad with just the music again. Wouldn't this be better if it was just an instrumental?

Not a fan of the vocals at all, especially the effects put on them. Sounds like they tried to make Keys sound harsher or something. Recording quality sounds pretty shabby, might just be the streaming audio though. Overall, they definitely could have done better, hope the movie isn't as poorly executed.
Love this toe-tapping theme. Very retro yet 21st Century.
Um, Brad, I think you misspelled "Solace" with "Silence". This reminding you.
Ha, yup, I remember I actually did the same thing when the title was announced. Not sure I will ever get used to that title. Thanks!
I thought it was stellar and didnt hear any "shouting," granted I agree the quality blew but it was a radio broadcast, aaaaaaaandddd I do not enjoy Alicia keys all that much but Mr. white on the other hand I love so having said that I'd rather it be "just Jack!!!" but since that won't happen I'm impressed.
Oh, my additional two cents on this…
This theme combine the high-pitch guitar riffs of "Live and Let Die" with the rapid trumpet blasts from "The Man with the Golden Gun" along with some smooth jazz drum beats and coordinated piano keys.
I think about the song as if it are in-sync with every time I see the second spot of the movie online.
Not a bad theme I say. At least it's better than Madonna's "Die Another Day" but it's no "You Know my Name".
